Cittadella beat Bozner FC 8-0.
On July 27, 2022 by Jake IovineCittadella win their second preseason match of the season as they cruise past fifth division side Bozner FC.
Four goals were scored in each half. The first 45 minutes consisted of Raul Asencio, Valerio Mastrontonio, Enrico Baldini, and Giuseppe Carriero finding the back of the net. In the second half, Giacomo Beretta netted a hat trick while Simone Icardi also got on the scoresheet.
The Granata played in a 4-3-1-2 during the entire game. The lineup went as followed:
First half: Maniero; Vita, Perticone, Frare, Donnarumma; Carriero, Danzi, Mastrantonio; Baldini; Tavernelli, Asencio.
Second half: Kastrati (30’ Manfrin); Mattioli, Del Fabro, Visentin (30’ Ciriello), Felicioli; Icardi, Pavan, Branca; Thioune; Embalo, Beretta.
This week the team continues to prepare for the upcoming 2022/23 season in Lavarone. Next up for Edoardo Gorini’s men is Serie C side AC Trento, which kicks off Saturday at 5pm local time.
