Cittadella adds another defender as Angeli joins.
On July 7, 2023 by Jake IovineCittadella have announced the signing of defender Matteo Angeli from Bologna.
Angeli came through the ranks of AC Milan’s academy before being bought by Bologna after a loan spell at Imolese. The 20 year old defender spent last season with Serie C side Renate, where he made 42 appearances and tallied 5 goals in all competitions.
Angeli was wanted by Serie B rivals Catanzaro, but the Granata have won the race to sign the defender.
