Cittadella beat Real Vicenza after second half goals.
On July 26, 2023 by Jake IovineCittadella defeated Real Vicenza in their second preseason match in Lavarone on Wednesday, thanks to two second half goals from Enrico Baldini and Giuseppe Carriero.
The match was originally going to be against Bozner FC, but a late change of plans meant Real Vicenza were the ones to face the Granata on Wednesday afternoon.
Andrea Magrassi scored the opening goal but was immediately responded by Real Vicenza through Adriese Rabbas, where both teams went into halftime level.
Cittadella found their two goals in the second half through Enrico Baldini, who slotted home a penalty. Giuseppe Carriero scored another later on, giving the Granata the victory.
Edoardo Gorini’s side will continue to train in Lavarone as they face AC Trento on Friday afternoon.
