Cittadella were defeated for the first time this season, falling 1-3 in their preseason friendly against AC Trento. The Granata were punished by a ruthless Trento offense, who were leading by three goals by halftime. The Serie C side kept Cittadella off the scoresheet until the 89th minute, when Flippo Pittarello scored a consolation goal.
