Claudio Cassano to be with Italy U20 during November international break.

Claudio Cassano has been called into the Italian U20 national team for the upcoming U20 Elite League fixtures against England and Portugal.

Cassano has played 12 games for Cittadella this season, scoring twice and providing an assist in his first professional season. Italy U20 will play England U20 on Thursday in Doncaster before wrapping up the window in Sassuolo against Portugal U20.

Along with Cassano on international duty, goalkeeper Elhan Kastrati will be with Albania for the next week, participating in the EURO 2024 Qualifiers. Albania only need a point in their next two fixtures to ensure themselves a place at next summer’s tournament.
