With three games remaining in the year, Cittadella are on the road again, this time in Lombardy. With two favorable fixtures on paper after Christmas, Brescia remain as the last hard challenge for the Granata for 2021.
Since the acquisition of Pippo inzaghi last summer, Brescia are continuing their charge up the Serie B table. Despite losing their last two matches at home, I Biancazzurri sit in 2nd, clinging onto the last automatic promotion slot.
With the halfway point in the season coming, the pressure does not subside for any team. A tight race for playoffs is happening now, and Brescia cannot afford to drop more points.
