Cittadella announce two signings, two departures on Deadline Day

The club have announced the arrivals of defender Stefano Piccinini from Sassuolo and attacking midfielder Davide Voltan from Feralpisalo. The Granata have also officially let go of Tommy Maistrello and Enrico Baldini in the final hours of the window.
Piccinini will be available for selection for Cittadella’s match on Saturday in Modena. The 21-year-old center back spent the last two season on loan at Pergolettese, where he made 65 appearances in all competitions.
Davide Voltan has played for numerous clubs in his career including Padova, Reggiana, Ancona, Vis Pesaro, Sudtirol and Feralpisalo. The 29-year-old did not feature in any game last season with Feralpisalo after recovering from an injury. Voltan has played 16 Serie B games in his career.
Feralpisalo have also signed Cittadella striker Tommy Maistrello, theoretically replacing Voltan’s spot on the team. Maistrello joined the Venetian club in the winter of 2022 and has appeared in 54 games.
The Granata have also confirmed in the final hours of the window that the club has mutually terminated the contract with Enrico Baldini. The attacker has spent three and a half seasons with Cittadella, scoring 19 goals in 72 appearances.
The summer transfer window concludes with Cittadella making nine new signings and ten departures.
