Game over at the Tombolato. Cittadella hold on and secures its third straight win in regular season play.

Big stop by Zanellati as Lumezzane almost makes Cittadella pay off the counter attack.

Lumezzane isn’t going down without a fight despite playing with a player less. Another free kick swung into the box which is cleared by Cittadella.

Cittadella leads late here against 10 men Lumezzane. If the results hold, Musso’s side would sit top of the league with Brescia.

Decent look for Amatucci as the ball falls at the top of the box. The midfielder tries his luck but his effort sails well over the bar.

Fabbro has just come on and he’s immediately in the center of attention. There seemed to be some contact while waiting for a free kick to be taken.
Lumezzane will use its first FVS card for a possible red card. Referee says there’s nothing there.

Cittadella makes two changes. Amatucci and Fabbro are on for Anastasia and Falcinelli.

Cittadella goes into halftime with the lead, but it’s been Lumezzane on the front foot in the last 15 minutes. Musso will welcome this break after seeing his side suffer in those final moments of the half.

Andrenacci may have kept Lumezzane in this game. Great work again for the Cittadella attack to find Paolucci driving in the box, but he can’t get enough pace on the shot.

That was a chance for Lumezzane! Ball gets played in behind and Anatirello chips it over Zanellati. The ball hits the post and Ndrecka clears.

There’s still a long way to go in this contest, but it’s been a dream start for Roberto Musso’s side. Two goals from two of the most experienced players on the field gives the Granata an early advantage.
Cittadella goes on the attack and forces and Andrenacci makes two saves, first on Falcinelli then Paolucci.

It’s a perfectly executed counter attack by Cittadella. Anastasia leads the attack and finds an open Falcinelli. The captain slots it home to double the host’s lead.

Barberis scores off the free kick, his first goal since 2022. He curls it perfectly over the wall and leaves no chance for Andrenacci.
