Colantuono departs Cittadella Women after two seasons.

After two seasons as head coach of Cittadella Women, Salvatore Colantuono says his farewells to the club.

Colantuono has brought tremendous success to the Granata in his short spell in Veneto. In his first season, Cittadella finished 7th in Serie B Femminile.

However, the latest campaign is more impressive. Under Colantuono’s guidance, Cittadella fought all the way until the final matchday for promotion, eventually ending up short with a respectable 3rd place finish on 70 points. The Granata had the best defense in the league with only 19 goals conceded.

Colantuono wrote in his farewell speech that coaching Cittadella, “wasn’t just a sporting experience, but a life experience.”
