Emil Kornvig joins Cittadella from Spezia.

Cittadella have announced the signing of Danish midfielder Emil Kornvig from Spezia.

Kornvig, who spent last season on loan at Cosenza, will be joining the Granata from Spezia. The deal is not related to Mirko Antonucci’s recent transfer to the Ligurian side.

Before moving to Italy, Kornvig started his career with Danish side Lyngby BK. In the summer of 2021, Spezia bought the midfielder for €1.13m, before moving him on loan back to Denmark with SonderjyskE. Last season, Kornvig made 14 appearances for Cosenza during another loan spell.
