Gorini: “These are the best games to play as a player.”

Here are some key takeaways from Gorini’s conference.
On players recovered/injured:
“Branca is recovered, also Baldini will be there. Meanwhile, we prefer to rest Tessiore because he has a muscle problem, so he won’t be at the game.”
On the match vs Palermo:
“I don’t know if Corini will make some changes. Palermo has a big squad so they have lots of options. On paper, they are a team built to win the league and not a 3rd place team.”
“We will be playing in a packed stadium, so it will be a great match. As a player, I believe these games are the best to play and to live. We must be clearly focused and wanting to go there to get a result as always. To get the result we need, the true Cittadella has to show up from start to finish, because we are playing one of the strongest teams in the league.
On Palermo striker Matteo Brunori:
“Palermo have a lot of quality players, not just Brunori. Like I said, we have to keep fully concentrated not just on Brunori but for all of Palermo.”
On the formation used:
“In the last match against Brescia the diamond midfield worked. It gives you more solutions that we worked on and that we can use, or how we can return to the 4-3-1-2. It’s a solution that I can adopt in certain games or when I need it.”
“The important thing is to give another attacking alternative to the guys.”
On Palermo’s strength when taking the lead:
“Those are two strengths. I always like to take the lead first and not come from behind. This is what we are working on, we already talked about this as it’s a mentality aspect.”
On Cittadella defender Stefano Negro:
“His fitness is still not the best, but I see that he’s training well and that he’s taking one step at a time. That’s why we signed him: he’s another alternative that can play. I’m not sure about tomorrow, I have to see the levels of the other guys, and then I’ll decide.”
