Cittadella’s Coppa Italia Serie C opener to be broadcasted live
On August 14, 2025 by Jake IovineCittadella will face Ravenna in the opening round of the Coppa Italia Serie C on Sunday, with the game being one of three to be broadcasted live.
Lega Pro announced on Thursday that Sky Sport will broadcast three games in the first round, with its streaming service NOW showing the matches.
Lumezzane’s clash against the newly formed Inter U23 will be broadcasted Saturday night on SkySport Calcio 202 and SkySport 251. Cittadella’s cup tie with Ravenna will be shown on SkySport 251 on Sunday at 18:00 CET, while Crotone and Catania will face each other at 21:00 on SkySport 201 and 251. Highlights from all 28 first round games will also be published on Serie C’s Youtube channel.
If the match ends in a draw after 90 minutes, the game will be decided by a penalty shootout. The winners from the first round will advance to the Round of 32, which is scheduled to take place on the final week of October.
Sunday will be the Granata‘s first official match since being relegated from Serie B in May. It will also be the first time Cittadella participates in the Coppa Italia Serie C since reaching the final in 2016, where the club fell to Roberto De Zerbi’s Foggia.
